Anna’s House

Grandville Celebrates 1st Birthday

Join us this weekend at our Grandville location for a birthday celebration! It has already been one year since the grand opening of the store and we decided to take a trip down memory lane to where it all began. At this time last year, the store was abuzz with new employees in training, last minute details, and jittering excitement before our first guests arrived!

Opening a restaurant is hard work, but our team was ready to take on the challenge. This meant a complete renovation in order to create that classic Anna's House look. Carpets were stripped, walls were built, and bright colors were painted everywhere!

Top photo shows the building before it was renovated. Bottom photo shows the restaurant today.

It's hard to believe these are photos of the same building!

Our staff spent multiple days in orientation, preparing their Anna's House knowledge to ensure the success of the restaurant! Many excellent servers are still a part of the Anna's House team from day one; We are so happy to have such talented staff members. One server in particular, Christina, showed tremendous strength and is now the General Manager of our Grandville store!

Not only did we have a beautiful building and hardworking staff, we also had overwhelming community support! Their encouragement and positive words started us off on to the right track for the best year yet! Even Mayor Steve Maas came to welcome us to the Grandville neighborhood during our ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce!
