Cool weather is finally creeping in. It’s changing the color of leaves and encouraging people to bundle up in cardigans, scarves and boots. I love the smells and flavors that fall brings! Pumpkins, apples, caramel, squashes and SOUPS, there is nothing like a great soup on crisp fall afternoon. This season we wanted to take many of the unique flavors of fall and put them into a menu that excited our customer’s taste buds, and filled their bellies.
First up is our sweet potato benedict. We have had this item on the menu for less than a week and it is already stealing the show. On the bottom is a sweet potato hash brown patty, loaded with all natural bacon pieces, sweet and savory maple hollandaise, and topped with a little green onion and sour cream.
The apple strudel waffle is a great addition to any cold autumn morning. Our brown sugar and cinnamon waffle is the perfect base for oven baked Michigan apples, caramel sauce, a little whipped cream and a sprinkle of crunchy house made granola.
